2021 Call for Plenary Proposals & Keynote Ideas

Submit a plenary proposal or keynote idea! The 2021 Call for Plenary Proposals & Keynote Ideas will open on March 15, 2021 and close on May 7, 2021.

Plenary Session Proposals

Plenary sessions are high-level 15-20 minute lectures that occur on the mainstage of the National Conference and are designated for CME credit. These sessions address cutting-edge, crucial or emergent clinical topics for pediatric care and should be of broad interest and importance to all attendees.

The following is required for a plenary session proposal:

  • Proposal author name and contact information
  • Title
  • 50-word description
  • Learning objectives
  • Needs assessment information
  • Physician competencies
  • Proposed faculty contact information
  • Proposed faculty description of speaking experience
  • Proposed faculty video example (if available)
  • AAP sponsor (if available)

Keynote Address Ideas

The 2021 National Conference will feature an opening and closing keynote address. These sessions are presented by high-profile speakers and/or subject matter experts to promote unity, provoke thought and ignite enthusiasm in all attendees. Keynotes may or may not be designated for CME credit based on the topic.

The planning group will consider all submitted ideas and selections will be made based on interest to attendees, availability of speakers and cost (among other factors).

The following is required to submit a keynote idea:

  • Submitter name and contact information
  • Suggested speaker
  • Up to 100-words describing submission
  • Video link of speaker
  • AAP Sponsor (if applicable)
